Is there any way for me to get my app data from my iPad to the iPad 2?

It is fairly easy to get your data and apps from your iPad to your iPad 2. You will not need to go to an Apple Store to do this. To begin, before you get rid of your iPad (whether you are trading it in or giving it away), sync up your iPad to your computer one last time.

This will ensure that all the information that is backed up on your computer is the latest and most updated. To do so, simply plug in your iPad to your computer and sync. This will also transfer any downloaded apps from your iPad to your computer.

Once you have done so, connect your iPad 2 to your computer. You will get a prompt asking you if you want to back up your iPad 2 to the last backup done to your computer. Click yes and all your new information will automatically be synced to your new iPad, including all your apps.

If you do not want to sync your entire app collection to your new iPad, you can simply uncheck the “Sync Apps Box in the Apps tab. Sync over all your information (contacts, calendar, email, etc) first, and then go back to the Apps tab, check the “Sync Apps

Button, and then select the apps that you want to go on your iPad 2, sync one last time and you’re good to go.
