Is there any way to reverse a delete of an Excel spreadsheet in a workbook?

I recently inadvertantly deleted a whole sheet of my worksheet when I was trying to delete a portion of the sheet. I didn't seem to have any way of undoing the error? What could I have done?

You could try undo but if you saved it will be harder to find Try this first locate the document in Excel. If you locate the file, FILE>OPEN>”Revert to saved document? ”.

You can also save it as SYLK. Click FILE>SAVE AS>SYLK>SAVE>OK>YES. Then click FILE>CLOSE.

If I accidently do this, I immediately close the workbook without saving it. If there's other data in there that I don't want to re-create, I will copy it into a new workbook, and close the original...this will save a lot of time. Just hit "control-N" while you have the excel file open and it will open a blank workbook.

Copy your data/sheets in the original to the new workbook that you are worried might be lost if you close w/o saving. Close the original and indicate "No", you don't want to save. If you save the file before you close it, it will be gone forever.
