Is there anything I can make for my science project that has to do with levers?

I'm suppose to make a toy that is made from at least one lever (7th grade) Asked by jamesmaa17 56 months ago Similar questions: make science project levers Science.

You can make a game like that that showcases what levers are good for: allowing you to do work more easily. I'd make a target of some sort, maybe holes in a board, maybe a distance-based target, whatever. Take a pair of levers suitable for stomping (as with feet).

One lever will be short, the other will be long. Use the levers as the means by which you launch an object, like a beanbag, through the air and toward the target. One of the levers, the short one, will be inefficient and might not even allow your beanbag to reach the target; the other lever, the long one, will be much more efficient and will allow you to score higher points.

It might be outside of your ability to make this like a strong-man game (where you basically play the game vertically, whomping the lever with a hammer and sending a weight up), but if you could manage it, that'd be a great project, too. If your project must be small, you can maybe make a game of tabletop football (you know where you fold a piece of paper into a triangle and flick it towards your friend's "goal posts"? ) with little levers you can whomp with your fist, but one of them too short to send the "football" all the way across.

Remember what Archimedes said about levers: "Give me a place to stand and a lever long enough, and I will move the world." If you can make a toy or game that shows the work benefit of levers, you're sure to get an A. Or a ribbon.

Or whatever..

Can't use water in the project. Help! " "science project is asking for a hypothesis" "I am 6th grade, for science project, is there any subject related to food I can do?

Science project is asking for a hypothesis.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
