No, it is not a thesis at all. A thesis is a sentence in the introductory paragraph, usually the last sentence, that announces to the reader what you are going to discuss in the essay; so think about what you are going to discuss in your essay, then mention those things in the thesis. "In Oscar Wilde’s classic novel, 'The Picture of Dorian Gray', different types of art reveal the true nature of the characters, portraying the power and the influence of art on people’s lives."
What are the different types of art that you are going to discuss in the essay? When you have that in mind, rewrite this sentence and include a list of those things.
There is no thesis here to evaluate, so no. Here's what a thesis is: https://www.shoreline.edu/doldham/102/HTML/What%20is%20a%20Thesis.html.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
