There has to be a cause the puzzle is what the cause is. Air pollution - Smog, mold, pollen. If it gets worse or better tracking the smog level or month to month tracking what is in bloom then the air is the problem.
Some sort of allergy treatment is called for. GERD. Acid reflux.
Dietary intolerance will cause GERD. Some people are mildly intolerant of milk protein (they often wonder if the are lactose intolerant). Some people it's eggs.
Some people it's wheat or other gluten grain. Some people it's corn products. For me I went wheat free and my chronic cough stopped and so did my GERD.
I cough rather than clear my throat. I dropped carby foods for a diet and months later when I added flour back on schedule the coughing came back. It was a puzzle to figure out mine is specific to wheat, triticale, spelt, kamut not other gluten grains rye, barley, oats.
Going wheat free also dramatically reduced how loud my snoring is. Food intolerance is hard to figure out. Before you try you are simply normal because that's how you've been your entire life.
List all common ingredients in foods you have daily. One by one drop one for a week then add it back. It's call an eliminate and challenge system.
Very methodical.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
