Isn't This About The Most Ridiculous Thing Yet in This Election Season?

This should get the Republicans an award for total stupidity. I'm not a Barack Obama fan, but it seems the big thing the Republicans have decided to attack him upon is his lack of patriotism. Why?

Because he doesn't wear an American flag lapel pin in his suit! And, because he was photographed once not holding his hand over his heart during the playing of the National Anthem. Go to any sporting event, and 90% of the people there aren't doing that!

And how many people wear those stupid little pins in their lapels? This is the BIG ISSUE? Obviously, the Republicans are in BIG TROUBLE!

The BASHING will only get much worse... Patriotism is a sham, and the Republicans are the worst to pretend they are any better. It is a shame that we have children starving in the street and families with no health care in this country, and these candidates all WASTE hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars trying to get elected. As for patriotism - why aren't the Republicans or Democrats addressing one of the major issues: The North American Union and NAFTA super highway.

Does it make sense that there is only one picture? Of all the thousands of events a US senator has to attend, let alone a presidential candidate, don't they realize that there would have to be more than one incident of this so-called disrespect?

Or that a camera freezes a point in time? He could have raised his hand a second later. And don't people realize that it takes more than wearing a lapel pin to make a patriot?

A lot of those people are evangelicals also and in my Bible it makes it pretty clear that a Christian is not supposed to worship other Gods but here they are worshiping the flag like it was on an even keel with God. I’m surprised that they don’t expect us all to prostrate ourselves in front of the flag every time that we see it. Now don’t get me wrong because I respect the flag but I respect what it stands for even more and all the while that the Republicans are wrapping themselves in the flag their president is trying to undermine the very freedoms that it represents.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
