It's Friday the 13th. Are you worried something bad will happen?

I'm mildly superstitious, but usually Friday the 13th is uneventful for me (knock on wood. ) Lol.. mildly superstitious? Ok, I am VERY superstitious.

But as long as I'm not in a hurry (How to Drive a Stick Shift|driving), look both ways before I cross the street, and observe the expiration dates on bottles and food, I'm OK. Some of the coolest things have happened to me on the 13th. Embrace lucky 13!

It's a Baker's dozen! Joke for Friday the 13th:A man bought a new Mercedes-Benz|Mercedes to celebrate his wife leaving him and was out on the interstate for a nice evening drive. The top was down, the breeze was blowing through what was left of his hair and he decided to open her up.As the needle jumped up to 80 mph, he suddenly saw flashing red and blue lights behind him.

"There's no way they can catch a Mercedes," he thought to himself and opened her up further. The needle hit 90, 100.....Then the reality of the situation hit him."What am I doing? " he thought and pulled over.

The Police|cop came up to him, took his license without a word and examined it and the car."It's been a long hard day, this is the end of my shift and it's Friday the 13th. I don't feel like more paperwork, I don't need the frustration or the overtime, so if you can give me a really good excuse for your driving that I haven't heard before, you can go. "The guy thinks about it for a second and says, "Last week my nagging wife ran off with a cop.

I was afraid you were trying to give her back! ""Have a nice weekend," said the officer. ___btw, I'm a girl, but I thought the joke was still funny..

I'm not a superstitious person, and half the time I don't even realize it's Friday the 13th until Saturday. But for those who are: The Friday the 13th stuff is a combination of two superstitions: that Friday is an unlucky day, and that 13 is an unlucky number. So that would mean that generally there are five unlucky days in a month--four Fridays and a 13th.

But think about this: if the 13th of a month falls on a Friday, that means that that month has one FEWER unlucky day in it overall, if you go by the 'rules' of the superstition. So actually, wouldn't that make Friday the 13th's good, overall?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
