I haven't had either in several years. I'm not sure why. I don't adhere to any strict regime to stave off either.

What I can tell you is that the last time I had the flu, was several days after I'd received a flu shot...4 years ago. Not me, but my oldest son and my hubby just can't seem to get over it. My son brought his girlfriend home last week, knowing she was sick. Of course he got it really bad, and a few days later hubby was miserable sick, too.

I'm not... but my husband has a horrible cold right now! He hasn't slept much the last few nights, so neither have I! Last night he turned on the TV and was watching some motorcycle movie.

All I could hear is "verrrooommm, verrrooommm". The poor guy still went to work this AM! I think we will be sleeping in tomorrow!.

Fortunately I have not gotten a serious cold this winter yet! I got a flu shot sometime in November and fortunately I have not gotten a cold yet. These sort of flu shots do not necessarily protect body against ANY kind of cold but they are helpful against some serious types of cold.

I usually take a LOT of vitamin C every day. That definitely helps. I eat oranges and lemonade regularly.

They have a lot of vitamin C. For some reason generally I do not get cold that much. Maybe the reason is that I care about how I eat.

I do not eat junk food as much as most people do. I usually cook for myself and do not go to fast foods (such as McDonalds! ) or even restaurants that often.

The only fast food store that I go to from time to time is Subway. When I go there I do not ask for cheese and I ask for a lot of vegetables. I guess a good diet has a great influence in reducing getting sick so often.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
