By finally allowing yourself to satisfy your cravings without sabotaging your diet, you can keep the weight you lose off for good, saving yourself hundreds and even thousands of dollars in the process Get it now!
At your age you should be burning AT LEAST ten calories per pound of body weight even if all you do is lie around all day - that would be 1400 calories per day with no activity. Given that you are obviously active you should easily be burning around 2000 calories per day. For the past week you should have lost about 2 pounds, depending on the state of your metabolism.
That is really a little faster than you should be aiming for. Metabolism is going to be the key for you losing weight steadily and safely. To keep your metabolism high - and at your age it should be high - you shouldn't stay at the same calorie level for more than two weeks at a time.
You should look at how many calories you have normally been burning and how many calories you plan to burn from exercise and choose a calorie number that is about 800 calories less than that. To keep your metabolism from getting used to a particular calorie level you need to bounce between different calorie ranges on a regular basis. Pick two numbers, say, 1800 and 1500 calories and spend two weeks at the lower calorie range, then one week eating 1800 calories per day, then go back to 1500 calories for two weeks, and switch off like that to keep your metabolism from getting set on a low number.
Keep up the exercise because that also helps boost your metabolism. Allowing yourself to go out in the cooler autmn air and making your body warm you up also helps boost your metabolism (just don't do it too often or for too long!). Now, how to eat 1800 calories a day if you're NOT eating empty calories like sugary drinks and snacks!
Oh, you'll have to keep track of things or you will get to the end of the day and be 1000 calories behind and won't know what to eat to make up the difference! Try to eat a lot of calories for breakfast - protein, especially, because that will help you not be hungry until you can eat some lunch. Nuts and fruit are great snacks to keep your metabolism going and the more meals/snacks you eat the better your metabolism will work for you.
Just keep aiming for those calorie limits - don't more than 50 calories over or under for your particular week. I hope this makes sense and helps you. It is great that you gave yourself some time to accomplish your sensible goal!
Congratulations on not deciding to starve yourself!
140 pounds jesus I would suggest don't go below 120.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
