Ive changed my password three times and my account is still being hacked?

Sorry you’re going through this. There have been numerous reports about Yahoo Mail being hacked. Go to: TheNextWeb http://thenextweb.com/insider/2013/03/06... They report that Yahoo has known about the hacking since January.

I guess that wasn't important enough for Yahoo to email us and tell us this fact and what precautions we should take. I've been using Yahoo Mail for 15 years, but I just left. My wife and I experienced numerous problems (slow response or no response) and my daughter got hacked recently.

BTW, we're all using different computers.? I highly recommend this great web posting entitled "WHAT TO DO IF YAHOO EMAIL HAS BEEN HACKED." It's on HubPages.com http://poshbytori.hubpages.com/hub/What-... Check it out. It has lots of good information.

You have to turn to other sites, because Yahoo's customer service has been poor. However, I noticed in the last week they are improving. Yahoo has a web page that allows you to send the customer service folks a question.

It’s: http://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?l... If you have issues accessing your email I don’t know how they send you an answer. A couple of people posted this customer service phone number on Yahoo Answers: 866-562-7219 (I haven’t tried it. I hope it’s real.) I did a search of Yahoo Help and found lots of INFO ABOUT HACKING, including a wizard you can use if you think your account has been compromised: http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT&page=answers&type=narrow&fac=CMS-CATEGORY-YAHOO-PROD.PROD_ACCT&question_box=account+has+been+hacked&searchid=1365537713645 And this link deals with HACKING & PHISHING: http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT&page=content&id=SLN8292 Why they didn’t email some of this info to all Yahoo Mail users bewilders me.

Do Yahoo execs think the hacking on their site is a secret?! I've surfed the web and researched problems at Yahoo Mail since my daughter was hacked in early March. I’ve found that Yahoo Mail has been hacked an awful lot this year (roughly 80% more than the other two major web mails: Gmail and Outlook.com).

Some tech forums say the hackers got in a back door that Yahoo left open. Hackers may also have traced you through Facebook. Changing passwords just on Yahoo may not work.

I suggest... § 2 THINGS ALL YAHOO MAIL USERS SHOULD DO NOW AS A PRECAUTION §.

There are two things to consider: 1. You have a Worm on your computer. The Worm is a virus that accesses and sends emails to your contacts.

The Worm usually sends a link and when your contacts click on it they get infected with the Worm or another virus or spyware. Changing a password does not affect the Worm. Run your Anti-Virus security program to find a possible Worm.

2. You may have a Keylogger program on your computer. Keyloggers are usually put on your computer through a link you clicked in an email.

The Keylogger records everything you do on your computer and sends it to another computer. If you change your password the other computer will know the new password. To deal with a keylogger I recommend you try two different Anti-Spyware programs that are very good.

Malwarebytes and Spybot Search and Destroy. Go here and download from this safe site: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-An... http://download.cnet.com/Spybot-Search-D... Once you have them downloaded, installed, and updated turn off your computer. At the same time you press the start button start tapping the F8 key to enter Safe Mode.

The screen that appears will offer Safe Mode and Safe Mode with Networking. Use the Arrow keys and select Safe Mode with Networking then hit Enter. Once in Safe Mode run the two programs one at a time and follow the instructions and delete anything they find.

To reenter Normal mode restart the computer and it will start in Normal mode. Immediately change your Windows password If you could not download those programs in Normal mode then enter the Safe Mode with Networking and download the programs and run them. Give the above a try.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
