I've heard dogs are often placed in shelters or given to rescue groups after their owners have their first child. Why does this happen, and how can this be avoided?

This mainly happens when the dog is not prepared for a new baby in the house, some dogs become jealous or even protective of their owners not knowing what this little life is. One thing that can help is for anyone expecting to buy a baby doll and treat it as if you would your own new baby. This will help you know in advance what your dogs reaction is going to be and how you can correct it without harming a baby.

Many people get a pet before they have kids, and seem to think that once the baby is on the way, the pet must leave. Even if a dog shows no signs of aggression towards small children, the owners don't want to deal with a pet and an infant.

The only real way to avoid this situation is to educate people, help them realize the responsibility that comes with pet ownership BEFORE they adopt/purchase a pet.

Sorry, sorry. I go with Tracy that sounds about right.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
