JQgrid In-Line Edit:-How to set specific data type to a particular cell in jQgrid?

Catch the beforeEditCell event that gets fired when a user modifies the contents of a cell and change the edittype property on the selected cell to be whatever datatype you want.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
