Js.erb is rendered as text?

You should read Rails Ajax: .js. Erb rendered as text, not JS for a full explaination.

I have read that. But I had implemented this same code earlier and it worked just fine. Wonder why its not working – santu101 Apr 17 at 11:20 macarthy, I read that.

There its mentioned that another solution is to use rails jQuery adapter and thats exactly what i'm doing. Firebug even raises errors if I purposely make typo in rails. Js – santu101 Apr 17 at 15:12.

You are doing everything right, but you can improve your code a little views # use spaces to ident all this stuff and write less if it is possible: true %> controller class VideosController '). FadeIn('slow'); Be sure, that you have installed jQuery: rails g jquery:install and included it into your application layout file.

Ok I found the solution. I made a silly mistake. I forgot to skip prototype while creating the App.

This caused trouble when I tried to use Jquery. Its all good now.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
