If he played those first eight seasons in MLB, then he would probably have 4000 hits. We usually knock a few hits off of the Japan total just because it's an easier league to get hits in; but on the other hand, the Japanese league has a shorter season, so Ichiro would have been able to play more games in MLB. Plus, Ichiro was 27 when he came to MLB--Ichiro probably spent some of his prime playing years playing in Japan.
There's a good chance Ichiro's best season in terms of fitness and overall athletic ability was played in Japan; if he had played that season in MLB, what kind of MVP season would he have had?
Probably but then again it doesn't matter because he didn't do it. He's probably one of the only guys that could have caught Rose, Jeter had a shot but wanted to retire, but Jeter could have also kept playing, cant blame him for retiring though.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
