I left my abusive husband one day and when I came back to collect my things, he had burned everything I owned and my childrens things also. Being stupid after a while we got back together and we have been together 15 years now and he has walked out on me and is living with another woman in our home town.Do I burn his things, pack them up and take them to him or wait for him to come and collect them? He is abusive. Full stop.Do you want to be abused? Do you play the victim?
Do you love yourself? It's time to do some deep psychotherapy on yourself. Where you brought up to love yourself, have self esteem, reject violence?
What were your parents like? Most of these problems stem from home life. Karma has nothing to do with it.
It is about simple human behavior. Yours! Time to give relationships a break until you sort you out.
No more men. You must balance yourself and your skewed outlook on want you want. You have learnt to attract problem men.
Pack his things up nicely. Write a 'Thank You' note to him, saying that because of him you have now learnt a valuable lesson in life, to gain self respect. He has actually given you the experience to grow.
Use it wisely! Sources: Study. Chowfan.

Waht is really cool here is that you are ready to actually change your karma! Don't waste your time with burning stuff! You are finally mad enough to move on- that is the purpose of your anger here.
I have been practicing Buddhism for over 35 years and have some small understadning of karma. The real karma you are dealing with is not the burning of his stuff, it is that you went back to him in the first place. I know that karma!
It comes of a really deep lack of self respect, and believe me, that is the only thing that needs addressing right now! Forgive me for saying this so bluntly- it is just that I have been through this also. So please use your energy now to really take care of your own self- to actually pamper YOU, to find our your own strengths and to do those things you were afraid to do when you were younger, but wanted to.
Find out about tht wonderful energy that comes from you- you know- the energy that would ask a whole lot of people 'should I burn his stuff? ' before you would ever do it-(unlike someone else you know) What a blessing you are! You probably have a lot of undiscovered talents that have been hiding from you because of this relationship.
NOW is the time to enjoy them- and to enjoy your own life for the first time. You are an irreplaceable human being and NO ONE can accomplish your life nearly as well as you can! This is your day to finally get to win!
Don't waste your time with small stuff! You are begining the great and scary journey of finding YOU. It is the greatest adventure of a life.
Best of luck! Let us know! .
It wasnt a marriage but a crappy roommate.... WE had this crappy roommate when we were younger. HE was great when we first moved in together. Then after a year or 2 he slowly got lazier and lazier. It took us so much effort to get him to get a job and then it was like pulling teeth to get him to pay for gas to get him to work and his part of the bills.
Another thing was we only asked him to do 2 chores...dishes (loading a dishwasher! ) and mowing the lawn since everything else in the house was done by my husband except laundry that I did. The roommate eventually even quit doing his laundry...his room that was right off of our living room start to stink bad.
S idea of laundry was a pile clean on the bottom dirty on hte top...he reach under and grab the clothes out. I even offered to wash his clothes and he didn't want that. We even bought him things like deoderant, soap and a toothbrush to find that he never used em.
When it came time for us to kick him out cuz it wasnt getting any better and we found something illegal in the house he moved out on his own but left all his belongings behind. We went by ever step of the law so we wouldnt get into any type of trouble. HE had over 30 days to remove his stuff since we had ot issues the letter on the first of the month and have it notorized.
We notified the police what was going on and we also had a lawyor waiting in case it went that far. We left the notice at his parents house figguring they would tell him about it since the palces we knew he was at were no longer letting him go there. We even had the post office stop delivering his mail to address.
In the end we cleaned up all his grossness and had it ready the day before it was hte last day. He didn't show up on that day so we loaded it all up in the truck and took it to the salvation army. WE did keep a few things but no one except us and the people who helped us move recently know that, but its not like he can collect them anyway.
He the day after to get all his stuff...all my husband let him leave with was a broken tv and his comic books. S friend that took him to our said he needed to call the police cuz we broke the laaw by returning his mail to the post office and throwing away his stuff. Which we knew we didn't break the law so they called the police and the officer told them that htey had everything documented and that they were a day late and this is what happens.
The officer told him he could take us to civil court but we would win since we did everythign right down to the letter of the law. IT was ended right there...my husband still talked ot him and had him over a time or 2 after that...We knew what we did was right. We are all happier now and learned that we shouldnt let exaddicts live with us.
And no it is not illegal to put his stuff out in the front yard but it might be very illegal to destroy it.
Do nothing with his stuff. See below. By burning his things, you will have exacted revenge.
But Karma does not want you to act vengefully. No, Karma will take care of that for you AT AN APPROPRIATE TIME. In other words, Karma will repay your lovely hubby, but it may not be something you witness or even know about.
The trick, my friend, is not to waste anymore of your time thinking about him or his acts. Torment and hatred are always "rewarded", but 'vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord' or in this case, karma. Your best option - pardon the preaching - is to live and enjoy your life.
Find peace where you can, and thank whomever you believe your deity to be. You are blessed in that, at least, you're thinking about this before acting. It shows a conscience is still alive within you...it shows that you - despite his actions - have compassion.
Remember these gifts when you're angry, and trust in God, whomever you beleive him/her/it to be. Karma is around you. Karma will take the right actions, even if they aren't for us to agree with or even see/know about.
Let us not waste time on him or his miserable actions. If you dwell on him now, he will continue to control you. Don't give up...never give up: Ask and you will divine the right response.
KArma is right, Karma is good. And so are you. Sources: OPINION: Karma does exist.

Do you believe in bad karma and "What goes around comes around.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
