Yes it does matter. Space is not empty. Even between galaxies there are a few molecules per cubic meter.
The Skylab (back in the 60's) fell back to earth decades earlier than planned because of drag created by the atmosphere expanding due to increased solar radiation. If it had been streamlined there wouldn't have been as much drag and it would have stayed up a little longer. The voyager spacecraft have found the edge of the solar system where the Sun's magnetic fields give way to those of interstellar space and have found that they form a bow wave similar to that generated by an aircraft approaching the speed of sound in air.
Similar effects are found around exploding stars when the shock-wave impacts the interstellar medium.
Take a close look at the Borg spaceship. Does it look aerodynamic?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
