Kurt Cobain's daughter is about to start her singing career - do you think she can carry on her father's legacy?

Frances Bean has had a traumatic childhood rife with neglect, half raised by Courtney love. Whether or not that has affected her, she has grown up without the influence of her father and I wonder how much his legacy will play in her life considering all she has left are the same CDs the rest of us listen to. Also, this is the first I've heard of a 'music career' so maybe its a passing fad?

I honestly think it depends on how well she can sing and what she is singing. I was really young during the Cobain time, even though it is legendary now! What I do know is in life and now for sure in death his legacy has never been able to be trumped, so if she does come close she will have to of epic proportions.

Neither, the expectations for some people are so spectacularly high, that I doubt that she could ever live up to them. Yet I believe that she will reveal herself to be someone who will take this seriously and try her hardest. She knows that the shadow that she is under is a huge one.

I believe that she would move in the direction of a singing career only after training and considerable effort, thus I doubt she will "sink the Cobain ship" I look forward to listening and I wish her well.

She shouldn't even worry about her dad's legacy and make her own.

I think she will try her hardest! I truly hope she does continue the legacy and not fall into her mothers foot steps. Courtney Love is just off of her rocker and it's sad.

I think if his daughter has the drive and the want to make it and make her father proud then she will succeed.

The legend of Nirvana and Kurdt Cobain, has reached epic proportions. Did Courtney Love kill him or have him killed? Did he commit Suicide?

In truth Nirvana blossomed right in the middle of the grunge trend. Young Cobain has huge shoes to fill and the baggage that comes with the nirvana legend will always play a pivotal role in publicity. The key to Francis Bean's success will be to acknowledge the connection but try to separate from it.

If she can jump into an up and coming trend like her father, then success is guaranteed. When the day is done it will be her standing on her own that will make or break her career. Lets see if she has what it takes.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
