Ladies, do you take ecobeauty, the practice of buying "green" beauty products, seriously?

I take ecobeauty seriously because it benefits both the environment and my own body. For haircare products, I like Aveda's products, Lush's products and those by John Masters organics. Aubrey Organics makes some good products as well.

For skin care I've enjoyed using Tom's of Maine, Lush, and Burt's Bees. I've also had a lot of success cleansing my skin with baking powder and with olive oil, both totally natural, organic, and ecofriendly. Sources: My opinion: Yes, I do take it very seriously.

I try to buy green beauty products whenever possible and make some of my own at home. In addition to being better for the environment, I find that they work better for my hair and skin than most non-green products do.

Big fan of the Body Shop I don’t think they aren’t entirely green, but they are against animal testing, and for fair-trade, and global economy and ecologu support. I can’t say enough about their products! Things are a little bit pricy, but I have a membership card that gives a discount, and bonuses when you spend a certain ammount- a worthwhile investment. Their mascara is the best I’ve ever used, and I got it for free in a gift bag when I bought my Christmas gifts there.

I love their ginger shampoo, the vanilla conditioning treatment, and the vitimin E lotion- a product I wanted for a long time but could never find one that made me happy. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
