A couple of additional thoughts - Yes, we believe that we can be sealed for time and all eternity, but it is conditional on how we live our lives. If we (I'm speaking of the couple) do not come together spiritually when we know the "truth" (and that is very subjective), then the sealing may be for naught and the couple will not spend eternity with each other. All it takes is one partner or the other to ruin an otherwise good thing.
So, even if they are married at the time of their deaths, a couple will not necessarily enjoy each other for the rest of eternity if they have not been worthy of that blessing. We, as LDS, though, have a hope that God will forgive us our mistakes as we repent and that, through the grace of Jesus Christ that those mistakes will be forgiven. But it is still up to us and if we harbor any bad feelings about each other, the permanence won't happen.
The spiritual polygamy comments are a joke. It is true that any man who is sealed to more than one wife is viewed ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
