Nope what happen was your real teachers fault for not leaving the sub better infor. I am a diabetic retired teacher the least to blame is the sub. You should have asked to go to the office to phone your mom, don't take advangate of your 504.

You cause a disrupyion in class because everyone looks to see why you are getting away with using the phone.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
