Interesting question, any possible comparable product to the iPad is worth investigating for consumers. Lenovo, a computer company with a range of products from laptops, desktops and 'all in ones' and also software, released a laptop 'tablet' model in 2005 called a "ThinkPad". Lenovo PCs run on Microsoft Intel and Windows operating systems and start around $500.00.
The ThinkPad tablet, touted as a convertible laptop, is currently available in the X200 and X201 models. The retail price is around $2,300 depending on the model and specifications. The multi touch screen features gesture control with fingers or digitizer pen.
Other features include security options like a fingerprint reader and a shock mounted hard drive in the series X model. Depending on needs, this 'tablet' PC could be a great choice, but it does is not seem to be an iPad market competitor.
It is already in the pipeline, come this December 2010, Lenovo is set to launched the Lepad, while it's dock U1 will follow suit at a later date. One of the most interesting piece of news of this device is that the device will run on an Android software developed by Google. This table have a screen size of 10.1 inch, which is only larger by an inch compared with Apple's iPad.
Rumors abound that this Lenovo brainchild will have a 16 GB flash drive with 512 MB RAM. The said tablet is designed to sync with the company's LePhone, following the lead of Apple. With regards to the planned roll out of this tablet, the company have taken a different path, in the sense "that the company planned to debut the new products on the emerging market first and then expanded the sale to developed countries, adding that the company will launch the new product before the end of this year on the Chinese market first.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
