Edward Snowden is a hero - like all whistle-blowers, who report corporate illegality, regardless of the risk to their own well being. Someone like Erin Brokovich gets lauded and a film made of her fight against illegal corporate activities Unfortunately Snowden tok on the illegal activities of the US Government and there are too, too many people who will plead 'My Country, right or wrong'.
He's a delusional idiot that sabotaged his own life. What an arrogant stoog he is to even think that a peon such as himself could take on the U.S. government and win. His life is crap now, no country wants him and he now says he wants to come back to the U.S. if he can avoid jail.
He didn't even 'reveal' any information to the public that we didn't already know. And now as we have seen, it's doubtful that he had any real important classified information to give to other countries governments as he aluded that he stole and had in his possession, so he's a liar as well as a delusional idiot. Why do you think Russia wants him out of thier country now, because he hasn't got jack crap, not even a life.
Snowdon deserves whatever hardships he is going through right now because he did it all to himself. The governments in all countries have been spying on each other and thier own people for decades, it's not a new concept nor is there anything the people can do about it, most unaffected.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
