Like a lot of others I am looking for a home based business to pay the bills, not get rich as I suddenly find myself disabled and in need of 1) cash 2) a sense of worth. I am not talking about making $10,000 a day in my pajamas or a girls gone wild franchise type business. Is there a reall honest to God, you get back what you put into job, job, out there?
Intelligent but not educated, mid fifties, spent most of my life in supervision. Thanks Asked by ONEwolfe 56 months ago Similar Questions: lot home based business pay bills rich Recent Questions About: lot home based business pay bills rich Business.

There are several opportunities that you can... ...pursue. First, you can utilize your skills and create audio tutorials or write a PDF book. These items sell very good since it can be distributed over the internet without any interaction.
As a bonus, you can supply email or telephone support to any of your materials that you create. You can create a internet radio station where you talk about different subjects within your specialty and give tips and advice. Basically you would find a program that records in mp3's and simply place these files are the internet.
I've done both, and if you ever need assistance, you can PM me for details. Everyone has something to offer because they are experts at something that someone else isn't. Simply take your expertise and create a product that is deliverable via the internet and sell your services.
I've mentioned several times on other askville posts, that if you can create your own digitally created products, you can do very well. I usually compare the idea to Microsoft. Bill Gates created windows ( not really, but he marketed and made it what it is today), and he took that piece of software and distributed it all over the world.
You and anyone can do the same. You might not become the next Microsoft, but you will be well on your way to creating a consulting business straight out of your own home. Legitimately, the business can turn into a very stable and comfortable business to be in.
10k a month isn't far fetched, although it may sound like it is now. I'm not saying that you will be there, but when you create a product yourself, you have very little overhead and everything that you create is almost 100% pure profit. Here are some ideas on making extra money from home * Google Adsense - make money from your own site or blog. (google.com/adsense) * Mechanical Turk - do pretty simple work, get paid to do it. (agloco.com) * Flixya - a video sharing community where users can share videos from youtube, google video, daily motion, and other video sharing sites.
Unlike many of the larger video sharing sites. Flixya offers a revenue sharing program (requires Google Adsense account) and a rewards program where users can win cool prizes. In addition, Flixya has a unique charity feature, which gives back to the community.
(flixya.com/)-*-You can also sell things on eBay, whether it's stuff from around the house or you go to estate/garage sales and pick up goodies. -*-How to make some extra money without taking a second jobThere are several reasons you might want to make extra money. You might want to beef up a savings account, or put money toward an important goal, or it could be that you are tired of stretching dollars quite so far, or that they're not quite as elastic as you need them to be.
Being as frugal as you can sometimes just doesn't do it. Whatever the reason, if you're looking for a way to make a little extra money, there are many, many ways of doing it. The place to start is with thinking about what you can do and what you enjoy doing.
If you can write, then write. If you enjoy making and selling crafts, by all means, do it. If you want to raise tomatoes for sale, go ahead.
Get into vermiculture. Guide someone on a hiking trip. Make web pages.
Decorate wedding cakes. There are almost as many ways to make extra money as there are people who want to do it. Working, even if it's just being frugal with what you already have, is an inevitable part of life.
To be able to choose the work you do is a great privilege, so take your time and think about it carefully. Here are a few ideas; there are more in the links at the right. Online SurveysThey don't take much time; you can usually take them at your convenience; and they provide a small, but interesting array of incentives and checks and cash, anywhere from two to thirty dollars.
The key to making money on surveys is taking a lot of them. Here are a few to get you started. Go to any search engine and type in "surveys for cash" or something similar and you'll soon find more surveys than you ever want to do!
You might want to sign up for a free email account like Hotmail to use just for this. You'll need to remember to keep an eye on it daily, because some surveys expire quickly and some are paying only for the first few hundred responders. You won't get rich from them, but a few dollars here and there add up, especially if you're conscientious and committed to it.
Rewards ProgramsIn reality, these programs take a lot of time investment for a small return, but if you find yourself with a little time and an internet connection, why not? You can earn gift certificates to chain stores like Target and Red Lobster and even grocery stores are getting into the act. (You can also earn real cash money.
) Go to a search engine and type in "rewards programs. "RecyclingTalk a stroll down almost any highway in America and you will find anything from aluminum cans to clothing to tools and more. Carry a plastic bag or two and dump all the interesting stuff together until you can sort it out.
It's not only fun, it's profitable. Sell the cans and bottles and other recyclables you find, and have a garage sale with the other things. TypingPut up some ads at a local college or in the newspaper if you're a decent typist or if you're willing to spend time becoming one.
Many students as well as faculty are willing to pay for someone to type up reports of various kinds. ASK if they want light proofreading also, and charge a little extra for that. This is hardly even the tip of the iceberg - there are many other ideas on how to make extra money without "having a job.
"http://frugalliving.about.com/cs/moneytree/a/040103.htm-*- Here is some more information on the topic:There are lots of legit work at home jobs out there, but you have to know how, and where to look - and the rules to follow about finding them. Rule number one - NEVER EVER pay! For a work at home job!
There are very very few exceptions to this rule. Liveops is one, there is a 30$ fee for your background check, but you will have no problem making that back in a day or so! And there is another that requires you to be incorporated, which carries fees to do - but again, its worth it.
Now, some places to start - http://www.wahm.com - click on 'message boards' on the left hand side of the page, register and start reading everything you can! Don't start right off the bat by posting a new message asking 'How do I find a work at home job" or "can you get me a job" - READ! READ!
READ! I'm serious, the amount of information is amazing! Another place is http://www.workplacelikehome.com - Excellent people there, and a super site for finding some legit companies.
Same as above, READ READ READ! Haha! You'll go nuts the first couple days from the overload of information!
That being said - Don't expect a miracle. It takes time to find work at home positions due to the number of people looking for them. It took me almost 4 or 5 months to get my first, and I've had numerous positions since then.
It's good to not put all your eggs in one basket when working at home, as many jobs are independent contractor positions, so work is not a definate. Depends on what you are interested in doing, and your schedule. The wait is well worth it though, I love not having to worry about childcare, gas money, lunch money, clothing money, hair and makeup product money LOL, that kind of stuff.
My commute on the snowiest of days is easy as pie, Walk out of bedroom - walk into office - log on. Whew - that was a toughy! And depending on your background there are some really great positions, I myself have never done more than being a Nightclub Manager/bartending with a little office assistant thrown in.
But I've done telemarketing (inbound and outbound), customer service, data entry, web research, marketing, web design...I'm sure there are other thrown in there...I also do merchandising and mystery shopping once in a while. You'll need a computer with highspeed internet for most jobs, and most likely a dedicated phone line (one you only use for work, no personal use), maybe a phone and headset (if you do phone work)...and a all in one fax/scanner/printer/copier is nice too. Excel and other office programs are nice to have, but not completely nessesary - depending on what you want to do.
I wish you luck in your adventure! Don't get discouraged, there are jobs out there, you just have to be cautious and determined. http://askville.amazon.com/askville/ClosedQuestionViewer.do?requestId=290953#answers Sources: My knowledge & google.com/adsense)0 & http://askville.amazon.com/askville/ClosedQuestionViewer.do?requestId=290953#answers .
Quixtar Quixtar is a business where you sign up people under you as well as clients and members who can buy things off the internet. At first, it looks like a pyramid scheme, but it is not. First, people under you can make more than you if they are more driven and harder working, but you do make money when they make money.
The reason for that is the people who sign you up are your mentors. They help you makle money so they can make more money. Also, the compny is a member of the BBB.
How could a pyramid scheme be a member of the BBB. The company also made $11.1 billion last year so it will be around for a while. I've been an IBO (independant business owner) for over a year.
I don't put much into it, but make about $200 a month which I use to buy their products which saves me money at the grocery and department stores. They have open meetings in almost every major city in the country. Go to Quixtar.com to find one slose to you.
The meeting will last one hour, where they will explain the business to you. There is no pressure to join in these meetings. They will simply ask you for a yes, no, or maybe (meaning you want more info).
There are some people on my team who make a lot more, but I just wanted a little extra money and got it.
Yes, so do I! Find out the TRUTH about home based business here... I have had a home based business for 13 years. I would have saved years of failure and frustration had I read this FREE ebook sooner.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
