Log4j in grails : how to log into file?

Just got answer from the grails' mailing list.

I have exact the same jetty/tomcat env's. Spent hours to figure it out. The trick is to define the file location (a relative path in my case) as a global variable inside Config.

Groovy, customized it in the environment blocks, and use the variable location inside log4j closure. Sample code is at: denistek.blogspot.com/2010/02/grails-env....

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
