I let it grow long enough to make a 10" pony tail, have it cut off, and start over again. It takes about two years to get it to that length, and by that time, I'm ready to have short hair again. Short hair is easier to take care of but long hair is more versatile. My hubby doesn't care either way, long or short.
He's just glad I'm not wearing a curly perm anymore!
Any further past what I can reach down my back is pretty much my limit. I never let it go past that since I always get sick of it.
I've been trying to grow mine out for ages.. I'd love to have it about where that picture is up there just past the butt. Alas I have very fine spiral ringlet type hair.. I haven't cut any significant length in 5 years and it's still barely past my arm pits. Pretty though.. long ringlets rock socks.
My hair is now touching my rear end, but just barely. My husband told me in no uncertain terms that he prefers it long, the longer the better. It is such an easy way to make him happy, so I am going along with that.
I think I will stop though once I start sitting on it, and just keep trimming any part off that would get sat on! It is very thin at the ends. I have been anxious to trim about five inches off the bottom for a few years now.
He tells me, "No! It looks great! Just let it grow!"
So, once a year on my birthday I just get one inch trimmed off the ends. It is inconvenient to have long hair sometimes. Most of the time I wear it in a bun on top of my head.
I have bangs, so the bun doesn't look to extreme. I am lucky in that I look OK with a bun. When I was younger I used to braid my hair, but I don't have the patience for that anymore, and it looks better in a bun anyway.
The short answer? This is as long as I'll go.
I've had fairly long hair my whole life. It usually stays around the middle of my back because I have it trimmed regularly. There is nothing worse than unkept long hair.
I love my hair long and so does my husband. I have a long straight black hair that fortunately is not difficult to manage. Although, honestly I spend more shampoo because I happen to have a thick hair.
But I don't mind since I like it and my husband loves it. I prefer my hair long enough just to reach the middle of my back. I don't grow it longer than that because this length is the one which I think I can manage well without too much hassles.
In real life... I have grown my hair as long as it would go. My hair pretty much stops just a few inches from my tail bone. I quickly got tired of the weight and hassle and only had it for a few years.
I think when women get older, they want convenience over fashion and usually don a shorter style. I am currently at shoulder length and some days wish it was shorter. In internet life... As a bunny rabbit, I have found that with just a few extra inches of hair... I get lost!
I love long hair. Right now I'm letting my hair grow to my butt. Its almost there.
But my boyfriend likes short hair. Everyone says I should let it grow longer because I have natural red hair. The bad thing about my hair is that my curls never stay in place they always fall out.
Other than that its great.
As a male, I'm going to say not particularly long. I prefer to look "kept" rather than "casual". Also, even longer styles of hair require regular trimming to keep everything in proper proportion.
I also prefer a style that I find easy enough to manage.
According to me Proper oiling makes hair long and shiny. But I like hairs upto shoulder.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
