There were tons of educational games but the Sierra games were favorites for my teens. Try King's Questhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King%27s_Quest org/wiki/King%27s_Quest.
I appreciate the lead, but unfortunately, King's Quest is not the game I am looking for. The only thing I remember about the game is that it was educational (maybe a word or spelling game of sorts) that came out in the early 90s. Upon finishing a level you'd recieve some sort of artifact or piece of furniture that spawned in the game's thrown room - which was sort of like the central hub for the game.It defintely was not an action/adventure game.

My kids were really active in the 90's and the only software they used was word processors for writing their papers, an amazing drawing program and required the user to literally draw and paint pixel by pixel - I saw some amazing realist paintings done on a computer for the first time, and those Sierra games I mentioned. Good luck.
The goal was to collect artifacts for a throne room. "Looking for an educational 90s computer game.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
