Looking for a series with strange science related to underground digging/mining, focused on a son learning the trade?

Looking for a series with strange science related to underground digging/mining, focused on a son learning the trade. It might be a 4-book series, but definitely has at least 3 books. I think the first book deals with a father, while the second focuses on his son.

The society might live exclusively underground or not, but digging/mining is definitely a large part of the culture. Any insight into this series would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I am looking for science fiction books from the 1920s. How do I find them.

Looking for the title of a science fiction book.

Good books on writing fiction, particularly writing mysteries and science fiction, but good ones on fiction writing, too.

Any new cool science fiction (not fantasy! ) books that you recommend?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
