At approximately 1:15pm Wednesday, an elderly man on a 3-wheeled bicycle was struck by a pickup truck in the 1600 block of Austin Avenue. Witnesses rushed to the scene to render aid to the injured man and called 911. Initial reports from witnesses claim that the bicyclist crossed the road into traffic, then was struck from the side by the truck.
The truck reportedly attempted to stop, but was unable to avoid striking the man on the bicycle. Long skid marks were left visible in the road from the truck's braking during the accident. Other unconfirmed reports from witnesses claimed that the man did receive a head injury but was coherent at the time emergency services arrived.
He was treated on at the scene by Guardian EMS and then transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
