Just had twin granddaughters, 4 Nov 07. My first grandchildren. I don't want to miss anything so I want to give my son and daughter-in-law a video camcorder for Christmas.
I need the stabilization feature and need to be able to make digital pics from video. I need the editing feature for a PC and easy connectivity to the PC. I need to be able to view on HD DVD player and/or PC if both are possible.
A long battery life would be great. I need for it to be fairly easy to use although they do have a little experience in taking digital photos and the older camcorders with small tapes for VCR viewing. Sharing pics and video is a must.
I'm not sure what format to buy, what brands are reliable, the best value for the buck, what optical zoom number, what megapixel number, what GB capacity if buying that format, etc. Asked by kkbamagirl 49 months ago Similar questions: video camcorder stabilization digital photos easy edit PC decent storage capacity Uncategorized.

Panasonic PV GS85 We have this camera, it's a good, small, lightweight camera with excellent still photo capabilities and has image stabilization. It has a SD/SDHC slot, so you can use up to a 4GB card to store images. It also works as a webcam when connected to a PC.
I also like the large LCD display and the standard viewfinder. www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/... .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
