Looking to buy an external backup hard drive. Any suggestions? I'm not sure if I'm ready for a Drobo just yet?

I've had very good experience with 5" and 5" drives. You can either buy them as external drives, or else buy internal drives and buy an enclosure you like. I'd recommend looking at what's available from Newegg.Com, TigerDirect.

Com and MicroCenter. Com as these three usually have good prices and good customer service. Find the disk you like in the size you need, for the best price among the three and you should be ok.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
