Lou Dobbs says Hooray for the failure of the bailout plan. Read what he has to say. This is no uninformed idiot talking.

I agree with Lou Doesn't it seem just a little bit suspicious that: 1. All this is happening just before the election. 2.
We are told that the "only" way to fix it is by sticking taxpayers with an enormous bill. 3. The Democrats run both houses of congress.4.
The Democrats could have passed this bill without any Republican help but didn't. 5. Obama is being helped by it.
This bill stinks to high heaven. I hope it doesn't pass with any bailout money in it. I hope they fix some problems though: 1.No more lending money to people who can't pay it back.
2. No more 100 or 110% mortgages.3. Close down Fanny May and Freddie Mac.4.
No bailing out any morgage institution for any reason. You make bad loans you go out of business. That's it.
Free enterprise works..
Lou Dobbs calls it like he sees it--thank goodness he is still on the air As a tax paying--used to be middle class--American, I would like to see the incompetent dolts that caused this problem pay for the fix from their own huge salaries. This would include the folks in the White House and Congress. Who ever believed we could trust a bunch of greedy money launderers to do what's best for their country.
Since the Reagan meltdown of the checks and balances, we have been on a steady slide. The banks that really demonstrated their incompetence should go away. The ones that might have gotten caught up in a tornado but seem to still have something to offer should be purchased by other institutions that make money from fooling with money.
I have no sympathy for greedy people. As a taxpayer that actually pay my taxes, I think we should let them fall. If FDIC is what it is sold as, the consumers will be protected.
The whole Wall Street thing needs an adjustment and I think it is underway. I think the government should learn from the mistakes it made that allowed this to happen and redesign the system to rebuild confidence it the market. Just bailing them out with the same lack of oversight is really stupid.
Giving the White House 700 billion is one of the craziest things I've heard--those folks are crooks in white shirts. Lou Dobbs should get a raise and some sort of medal for speaking out. How many spineless wonders do we see every day on the so called news.
How PC do we have to be. The real tax payers of this country are again being taken advantage of by the rich/ruling class--enough is enough--thank you Mr. Dobbs.

2 I watched him last night Nano, and completely agree with his train of thought (Jon Stewart & Colbert were FUNNY! Last night, too--same thoughts again)And, also agree he has a way w/words. I think Paulson's complete contradictory statments over the last couple of months should have EVERYONE rethinking the bailout.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
