There are answers to this topic in Can I Configure m2eclipse through pom. Xml? : Completely automatic configuration can only be achieved with a ProjectConfigurator.

But there is a solution based on AntRun and XMLTask even for the Google Eclipse Plugin GEP. It needs manual triggering only once after checkout.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
