Just a suggestion, but... There seem to be a lot of questions that have one or more answers but did not get a resolving vote. The "vote" icon shows in the list, but it looks like it is no longer possible to vote on those questions. Would it be possible to reopen them for a final vote?

I'll work on this project, like I've been doing for the last week(s). I try to answer 10 questions a day. However, I really have to object to these extremely old Twitter questions.1.

The person asking the question never asked to have its question stored on Mahalo 2. The person asking the question has probably forgotten about it a LONG time ago. Twitter is instant fire and forget -literally-.3.

Answering a question which is over half a year old borders on harassment. The person often didn't ask to get an answer, and certainly not after all that time. In my opinion, this way of working hurts Mahalo and how it's seen by non-Mahalo members.

Many have even taken the time to come to Mahalo, to explicitly complain about getting 'answers' this late, and not by explicit request. Proposed solution: wouldn't it be much better to make Twitter questions expire after a set time, say 3 months? In Twitter time, that's ages!

It would ensure ALL questions get a second chance on an answer, as we check the 'oldest unanswered' questions AND ensure it doesn't clog the system.

This project reminds me of when Bunnyphuphu and I were in the race to a Black Belt and would mine old questions. I didn't realize this was spring cleaning. My friend told me to start with the old unanswered questions when he told me about this site last week. I wondered what to do about the ones whose need had expired.

Now I know what to do, thanks! (I'll take this over the dusting type of spring cleaning any day! ).

Been answering a few in May and reported a couple too. However, the ones I answered are still there when I go back, although they contain my response, is this right?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
