You can wrap your content layout with some extra vertical and horizontal LinearLayouts with empty View 's and make something like this.

The easiest way is to create the red squire and set padding for the distance towards the inner green squire.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
