You are never too old to learn to play an instrument, it might take you a bit longer to grasp things. You can buy very good, cheap keyboards now, Yamaha are one of the best for the piano sound. Lessons can be expensive but I would encourage you to begin with lessons until you are reasonably profficient.
Then you can learn a lot from the Internet. What you have to remember, it might look easy watching on telly some person flipping their hands across the ivories and this wonderful sound is being produced, but - it has taken them many years of dedicated practise to reach that level. So you have to work hard and practise, practise and then more practise.
Good Luck.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
