Many diet candies contain maltitol, HSH as the sweeteners. Are these diet candies OK to use for diabetics?

Diet candies containing maltilol are safe to consume for individuals who have diabetes. Maltilol is a sugar alcohol. The body absorbs this form of carbohydrate more slowly than other sugars and therefore can be tolerated by persons with diabetes.

It will not cause a rise in the blood sugar level. Other sugar alcohols include: Mannitol, sorbitol and xylitol. Be aware, though, there may be some negative side effects, such as, diarrhea, if too much of the sugar alcohols are consumed.

Also, remember that candies, even these, should be consumed in moderation.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
