McAfee or Avast Anti-Virus?

Been using ESET since 2008. A switch from McAfee then with no regrets.. No slowing of my system and nt much space "eaten". Thumbs Up!

Neither. Get AVG free. I've not had a virus or any compromise once since I started using it.

Anything is better than McAfee. I work with computers and McAfee doesn't seem to protect from as many virus's compared to Kaspersky and Webroot. Avast is pretty good as well.

I run Microsoft Security Essentials alongside SUPERAntispyware Pro and Malwarebytes Pro. It's unbeatable.

McAfee Sucks..Avast is nice as per my experience as I have been using it for 3 years.

If it's free....it's for ME! Get the Avast! Good luck!

If you opts for a free Antivirus then go for AVG or Avast. Otherwise try BITDEFENDER/ Kaspersky.

I teach IT in the UK library system - the libraries have McAfee - but I have AVAST free - AVAST has saved my machines on several occasions - I have had to deal with several clients machines that had McAfee on - it is a nightmare to uninstall - in my experience - I recently had ONE situation with AVAST where I could not remove - I contacted their tecchies and within the hour they sent an EXE that removed the program cleanly - and such help at NO cost - I would always take AVAST over McAfee.

I have used McAfee as a PC bundle. Seriously I hate the ugly interface and making my computer so slow while scanning. Avast is not bad considering it is free.

But recently my computer keep crashing I suspect there are viruses not detected. My office computer is installed with ESET, it is light and working perfectly well for 2 years.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
