When checking out a tattoo artist you should always look at their portfolio and make sure their style meshes well with the style of tattoo you are getting. Tattoos on the inner arms hurt, whether they are upper arms or lower arms. Its a sensitive area with tons of nerve endings.
But the good thing about tattoos are that they only hurt for a few moments, then your adrenaline starts pumping through your system and you hardly feel anything at all.
Well, first off I would never use the first person you see or meet. I am not saying he isnt good ,but just like anything else you do you should look around talk to more then one person, this is gonna be on you forever. Pick an artist that has time to listen to WHAT YOU WANT.
The inner arm is a tender spot for a first tat,but I mean it isn't gonna be much better on the forearm. Just remember whatever it is and where ever it is. Its gonna be there for you to look at every day!?!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
