Metalheads: What was your gateway band into metal?

Start with the basic bands, such as Metallica, Godsmack, Alice in Chains, pretty much anything. But if it's a different "feel" of metal you're going for, I would strongly suggest Gojira. I love them :) P.S. I'm also 15 ^.

Heavy Metal is an acquired taste and like with good whiskey, your tolerance isn't built overnight. That being said, I can tell you the moment that changed my life was the first time I heard the song Iron Man by Black Sabbath. Right then everything within my field of vision grew dim and the song had my complete and undivided attention.

There are times that make sense and times that don't, but when you hear the call... You go.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
