Santorum is not a true conservative he is pretty fiscally liberal. How can anyone pick them over Ron Paul.

They really didn't. The conservative vote was split between RIck Santorum and Newt Gingrich. More importantly if you look at all those states Mitt won easily, they were open primary states which is telling.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
