Unless there's a clause in your sales contract regarding such losses, you are pretty much into a 'buyer beware' situation. I'll have to check re the incubation period for distemper, but you need to know whether any of the other puppies went down with this before you do anything. Unfortunately and sadly stuff happens.
http://veterinarycalendar.dvm360.com/can... Scroll down to incubation. This puppy may well have been incubating this disease when you bought it. In which case your vet, when he gave him his initial health check - within 48 hours of coming home - should have found the puppy wasn't in good health.
It could well be that this breeder has this disease on his property but you have a need to know before you start saying he was at fault.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
