Mod Podge - Glossy or Matte?

Yes, "Mod Podge" is just thinned down permanent white glue and permanent white glues (PVA) are permanent (they're only "water-soluble" while they're still wet) and they will dry clear if reasonably thin. Mod Podge and thinned white glues won't be as tough as some other clear finishes though, especially polyurethane and cyanoacrylate floor polishes. In this case toughness means less susceptibility to scratches and to absorbing moisture over time (temporarily becoming cloudy, soft, sticky, etc).

Keep in mind that if you do use a clear finish on polymer clay and you use a "matte" version of decoupage medium, polyurethane, etc, you *won't* be getting a glossy effect. And some matte versions of those things are very-very matte. (Using a finish isn't necessary on polymer clay at all though, and especially matte since you won't be adding a gloss, unless you have something on the clay the clay to protect or to hold on.) So, the answer is yes it will work but you might want to use a "better" clear finish on polymer clay.

There's much more info about those things in my previous answers here if you're interested: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?... And there's more on polymer clay charms in general in my answer here:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111003092108AAYpV8Q .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
