Since Models that I place in the world show up in the editor as simple bounding boxes, how can I tell how to orient the object so that it faces the direction I want it to?

In the editor the bounding box of the Models and Objects you place show red, green, and blue lines that represent the x, y, and z facing vectors. The models for NOLF have all been set up so that the blue vector is the forward facing vector. If you are placing a padlock on a gate you rotate the orientation of the object so that the blue vector was pointing away from the gate.

If you were placing a doorknob on a door, you would rotate the orientation of the object so that the blue vector was pointing away from the door. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
