I'll give you the answer that was provided by Robert Gates and Leon Penedda--US military personnel: Iran, according to the US ranks amongst the top ten most powerful countries in the world. It's strengths lies in its national production of its fighter jets and navy destroyers/warships, submarines, as well as national air-defense (anti-aircraft system). The fact that Iran produces much of its defence arms and equipment make it the most powerful Muslim country.
Pakistan has nationally produced nukes, and regularly tests balistic and inter-continental missiles, which is a sign of strength. Contrary to Iran, however, Pakistan allows the US drones to bomb its citizens on daily basis, which may mean that its air defense is either very weak, or that its administration is corrupt, and thus, Pakistan ranks as a powerful nation in some aspects, but very weak in others. It's noteworthy that Pakistan still relies on French, Russian and US made fighter jets.
Lebanon, Robert gates says that Hezbollah has a lot more arms and advanced military techniques than most of Europe. The group has manifactured its first attack drone in 2002. The group had defeated Israel in a 33 day war in 2006, which lead to a political storm in Israel, where they had excused the failure by suggesting that Hezbollah is the 8th power in the world, but that's different as Hezbollah isn't a government.
Turkey; while Turkey has many arms, they're all made in the US & Europe. It doesn't make its air -defense systems, fighterjets, warships etc. It's, thus, considered very weak in the international scale. Syria: Syria is very discrete on its military might, but it's suspected that it possesses the largest missile power in the ME.
It's military has so far withstood internationally armed gangs, as well as defeated Turkey in multiple border battles in the last few months. This means that Turkey is so weak that it doesn't dare go far against Syria or else Syria is powerful. Penedda has recently said that Syria isn't Libya, and its air defense is amongst the top in the world.
Turkey Iran Rest do not even count. Pakistan has the largest army but numbers do not count. An army that uses heavy fire power including air fire power against its own people is no army at all but just a corrupt Mob.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
