You have a bad ground wire going to the lights. If the wire isn't grounded, then the lamps are effectively in series, each getting half voltage, so they'll both come on, weakly. Either you or someone else will have to follow the ground wire going to each socket and figure out how it became ungrounded.

You might just look around and follow the wiring bundle-- there probably is a black wire that exits the bundle and goes to ground, or in your case, no longer goes to the chassis.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
