I would check with his folks to see if he is into either, and they should know what he already has and what he's wanting to add to his collection.

Play Monopoly with him. Then Risk, then chess, and work you games up progressively more complicated and educational. The best gift is time.

A 32" HDTV, a gaming computer, mouse, keyboard, and a wireless headset. Also buy him a couple of games, preferably something with multiplayer and a good atmosphere, too many to list. Now this might run you about $1500, lmao.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
