Yes, I really do, Helen - I don't know why so many Askvillers use the DB instead of an answer slot. It's so much more fun when you have an active membership. I have several appeals on hold right now - nobody's rating them.

I wonder if anyone even reads the answers anymore? I was asked by someone if I would be in favor of getting rid of the formal answer slots and just have the DB. I said a big NO to that question.

2 Since the Quest Gold isn't worth the cost of the powder and lead it would take to blow it all up with, no one other than the dedicated Gold Hunters - and you know who they are - use the Answer slots with most people preferring to use the DBs for answers so everyone can see them. It doesn't bother me not to have any action items since I only check that about once a week anyway! .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
