My aunt and I have rented, with no lease, from a family member who wants to sell the house. What are my rights?

What your aunt is proposing is just a rental situation. Unless you have a purchase and sale document drawn up and a deed transferring the property to you, then you have not purchased the house and you have no legal rights to it. If she intends to loan you the money, she and you should probably see a lawyer together to draw up the appropriate documents.

If she does not want to lend you anything and just have you take over mortgage payments, then you should probably hire a lawyer. Either of you can have a document drafted stating such an agreement but, it would be wise to see a lawyer. If you do not want to pay for one, then you take your chances.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
