Well it depends on the size and intent of the hole. She may simply be digging a small indentation to give birth, or she could be trying to make a burrow which she may escape from. If I were you I would make sure she has plenty of boxes, or at least one sold box where she can have peace and quiet and be hidden to give birth.

Chances are she is trying to make a suitable place for her kits to be born in.

She is burrowing you shouldn't let her do that she wants to give birth under ground. Make sure she is in her hutch to give birth and supervise her carfully. Burry the hole, and make sure she doesn't do that.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
