If you have put a brand new battery I to it and still nothing it's not your alternator as a new battery should turn it over check all connections .. Check your earth strap it might have come loose follow the earth wire from the battery to we're it is bolted to the chassis or engine block check all connections on starter are tight and check starter bolts are tight as if they are loose your not getting a good enough earth threw the starter if all else fails . Get a set of jump leads and put the positive from the battery to the positive on the starter this will eliminate the original wire as it could be broken or frayed .. Do the same with the earth strap go from the earth on the battery to some were on the engine block eliminating the earth lead as a problem if it starts after doing that then replace the relevant lead as it is broken ... if that doesn work .. It's most likely a lazy starter ( faulty) if you do get it started check charging with a multi meter of possible or could be a faulty relay?
Since it's relatively old, some cars struggle to start in cold weather. If you're safe to leave the engine on outside for a few minutes before you leave that could solve it. My old renault clio had the same problem, eventually after the other years immense snow.
I had to replace it because it was annoying me that much. Hope you can solve it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
